As an IT Technician Intern, you will assist the IT team in a variety of tasks, learning valuable skills along the way.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting with maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of endpoint devices, ensuring proper tracking and asset management.
- Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up endpoint devices, installing software, and providing initial support.
- Preparing, organizing, and filing IT support documents such as deployment records, troubleshooting logs, and device history.
- Ensuring compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
- Supporting the IT support team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing service desk tickets and monitoring request queues.
- Managing incoming requests from employees related to endpoint devices, software deployment, and troubleshooting, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Maintaining and updating all relevant IT asset databases and software inventories.
- Ensuring that all support tasks and initiatives are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
- Final-year students in bachelor’s or master’s studies, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in IT support and operations, with a desire to learn about endpoint management and service desk operations.
- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail, especially in managing device and software inventories.
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with others and strong communication skills to provide excellent support to employees.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, basic IT troubleshooting, Windows 10 and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
